Quality Policy
At Authentic Vintage Clothing, we take great pride in offering the highest quality vintage clothing available. Our dedicated team carefully grades each item to ensure that we are offering unique and stylish pieces to our customers. While we strive for perfection, there may be occasional defects or signs of wear that are missed during our quality checks. In these cases, we will always disclose any noticeable imperfections in our detailed descriptions and photographs, so you can make an informed purchasing decision.
Please note that due to the nature of our business, which involves a mix of vintage and modern pieces, we cannot guarantee the exact ratio of vintage items you will receive. Additionally, since these items are pre-owned, you may find some marks or signs of wear that can easily be remedied with a simple wash. We highly recommend washing every piece before wearing to ensure the best possible experience and to maximize the profitability of the item if you are a reseller.
Quality Grading:
At Authentic Vintage Clothing, we ensure that all products listed on our platform have a designated Quality Grade. We follow the standard three-level grading system, with a slight possibility of up to 10% grading error.
Grade A:
Items classified as Grade A are in pristine condition, free from any holes, rips, or broken zippers or buttons. Minor stains may be present, but they should be easily washable. These items are ready to be sold at retail. Please note that any item with significant damage, such as holes, rips, broken or missing buttons, non-functioning zippers, or large hard-to-wash stains, does not qualify for Grade A.
Grade B:
Grade B items may show moderate wear and may have washable stains. However, non-removable stains like bleach or oil stains are not considered Grade B. These items may have pinholes or small rips measuring less than 1cm. There should be no rips in areas such as the crotch, pockets, or armpits. For workwear and vintage denim, rips larger than 1cm may be acceptable if they are located in areas such as the knees or cuffs, consistent with the expected vintage character of such items. Additionally, Grade B includes items with broken or missing buttons and zips. Furthermore, 2-3 non-removable stains measuring less than 0.3cm each qualify for Grade B. In the case of branded items, missing labels would also classify them as Grade B.
Grade C:
Items classified as Grade C, are in worse condition but are still wearable. They may have rips or stains that are difficult to remove.
Please note that it is possible to list items with a mix of grading within a bundle (e.g., “mix of Grade A & B”). However, it is essential to highlight this information clearly in the product description.
Authenticity of items:
At Authentic Vintage Clothing, we have stringent policies against the sale of counterfeit products. However, due to the nature of selling items in bulk, we cannot provide a guarantee of authenticity. We strongly encourage buyers to perform authenticity checks before placing an order. If needed, buyers can request additional pictures and videos from the seller.
Rest assured that if a supplier guarantees authenticity, but the item turns out to be a fake, our comprehensive buyer protection program fully covers the buyer’s interests and ensures a satisfactory resolution.
At Authentic Vintage Clothing, we strive to provide the best possible customer experience and will always do our best to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you have any questions or concerns about the quality of our products, please don’t hesitate to contact us through ourĀ support page.
